On doit ce monument emblématique de Paris à l'association deux grands architectes : Renzo Piano et Richard Rogers. Malgré son âge, il garde toute sa force et reste terriblement contemporain. Le projet d'origine, qui a deffrayé la chronique dans les années 70 a connu un relifting profond en 2000 qui a renforcé ses qualités : depuis le forum jusqu'à la bibliothèque en passant par les galeries. Toute la structure métallique est repoussée à l'extérieur et toutes les gaines techniques sont apparentes et participent pleinement à l'image d'usine de la culture. One owes to this emblematic monument of Paris with association two famous architects: Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers. In spite of its age, there keeps all its force and remains terribly contemporary. The project of origin, which makes the chronicle in the 70's knew a deep relifting in 2000 which reinforced its qualities: from the forum to the library while passing by the galleries. All the metal structure is pushed back outside and all the service shafts are apparent and take part fully in the image of factory of the culture.
